Durrës and Cognac Factory Tour

A short bus ride from the hotel to the center of Durrës – one of Albania's oldest cities

A guided walk during which we will see: the seaside promenade, Byzantine defensive walls, remnants of the famous Roman amphitheater, the market square with a mosque, and the ancient forum – the former central square from Roman times.

Free time in the center of Durrës to explore the city on your own

For those interested: an optional guided visit to the local fruit and vegetable bazaar – an opportunity to see and smell local products and purchase, for example, olive oil

Transfer to the largest and oldest spirits factory in Albania
Guided tour of the factory – learning about the entire alcohol production process, from raw materials to the finished bottle. During the visit: unlimited tasting of alcoholic products, the opportunity to purchase local spirits in the company shop at attractive prices

Tour description
The tour with a Polish guide begins with a short transfer to the center of Durrës – one of Albania’s oldest cities, where history intertwines with the daily lives of its residents. Accompanied by the guide, we stroll through the charming corners of the city, seeing, among other things, the seaside promenade, Byzantine defensive walls, the ruins of the Roman amphitheater, the city market with a mosque, and the ancient forum – once the heart of ancient Dyrrachium.
After the historical part, there will be free time – a perfect opportunity for a moment of relaxation, photos, or an independent walk around the center. Those interested can join the guide for a visit to the local bazaar, where the scent of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs fills the air, and perhaps purchase local olive oil.
The next item on the agenda is a visit to the largest and oldest spirits factory in Albania. The tour covers the entire production process – from raw materials to finished bottles – culminating in an unlimited tasting of spirits and the opportunity to shop at the company store.
On the way back, we will visit the beautiful Riza Bajrami Mosque and admire it not only from the outside but also go inside.
We return to the hotel before noon, with a head full of experiences and – perhaps – a bag full of delicious souvenirs.
