Berat – “The City of Windows upon Windows” with a unique atmosphere.

An atmospheric evening tour with a Polish guide to one of Albania’s most beautiful cities. We’ll visit the castle with a view over the city, where we’ll also visit a traditional house with local refreshments, stroll along the promenade, and cross the Suspension Bridge to reach the Gorica district. We’ll end the day with a delicious traditional Albanian dinner at a restaurant located in the heart of Mangalem – the “City of Windows upon Windows”.

Tour description

We invite you on a unique tour with a Polish guide to one of Albania’s most beautiful cities – Berat.

We’ll begin our visit by exploring the castle that towers over the city, offering a magnificent panorama of all of Berat and the Osum River valley. At the castle, we’ll visit a traditional Albanian house where the residents will treat us to homemade rakia, sweet gliko, Berat sujuk, and aromatic coffee. Then we’ll stroll through the entire fortress area, ending at the viewpoint with an unforgettable city panorama.

After returning to the bus, we’ll head down where a short walk along the main promenade awaits us – there will be free time to rest, enjoy a cold beer, or buy local souvenirs. Then we’ll cross to the other side of the Osum River via the famous Suspension Bridge and reach the picturesque Gorica district.

We’ll end the tour with a delicious traditional Albanian dinner at a restaurant located in the heart of Mangalem – the famous “City of Windows upon Windows”. After dinner, we’ll take commemorative photos and return to the bus, then to the hotel.
