The day starts calmly – with a morning jeep ride towards the mountains. The route itself is impressive – passing the scenic Lake Banja and the winding Devoll River valley. In the town of Gramsh, a traditional Albanian breakfast awaits us in a local restaurant – warm, simple, and delicious, perfect before the expedition.
After breakfast, we head out in jeeps for real off-roading. The route leads through rugged mountain terrain to the village of Lenija, and then higher up to the Black Lake, situated among wild slopes. After time for relaxation and photos, we return by jeeps to Gramsh, enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant, and then head back to the hotel – tired but with wide smiles and heads full of mountain memories.
