Discover the charm of Durres and the secrets of Albanian cognac – an unforgettable journey!
Around 8:30 AM, the coach picks up participants from their hotels. This is how the tour begins, combining a visit to Durres with a trip to a unique cognac factory. After a short journey, we arrive in the city center. The coach stops at the port, and from there, we set off on a walking tour of Durres' most important attractions.
Vlora (Vlorë) – the heart of southern Albania on two seas
Vlora, known in Albanian as Vlorë, is the third largest city in Albania and one of the most important resorts on the southern coast. It is located on the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, precisely where these two bodies of water meet – in the picturesque Vlora Bay, sheltered from the west by the Karaburun peninsula.
Qeparo – Albania’s Underrated Gem
For a long time, Qeparo was an underappreciated place that I heard about from a Polish friend who has lived in Albania for over 12 years. Her first visit to this village took place about a decade ago, before then-ruling Edi Rama introduced his Rilindja (Renaissance) program. Back then, Qeparo was a small, forgotten village located almost at the end of the world - with just one small piece of beach and practically nothing else.
